We
play innovative and traditional music for listening to
and for dancing. We also lead workshops for playing and
dancing.
We have played music and danced
for several years, and have developed a particular
interest in the music and dances of England and France.
We also compose our own music.
Our style is distinctive, with a keen emphasis on being
both great to listen and to dance to.
Based in North Lincolnshire, we have played in a wide
range of venues. As well as playing for a number of
local events, we have also played regularly at Kinnersley
Castle for MADE, at Les Panards Dansants in Leeds, and at
the Ketton and Ockbrook dances. Since 2005 we have worked in France
playing for dances and workshops for Mains Unies, and in
September 2006 we played in Belgium for them. In 2008 we
played at Sains (near Mont-St-Michel) for a village fete
with local musicians and dancers.
During 2008 we
have played concerts at a number of beautiful, but
redundant, churches in South Yorkshire.
